The problem
Advertising sales at a trade publisher is a research job pretending to be a phone job. Before anyone can ring a prospect, somebody has to work out who the company is, what they sell, who makes the decision and why this magazine would matter to them. That took fifteen browser tabs and most of a morning. Proposals then took a day to produce, so they went out late or not at all, and when an advertiser asked how many people would actually see the advert the numbers were scattered across four different platforms.
What we built
Pressroom takes a company URL and returns an ideal-customer profile, ranked contacts, talking points and recent news in seconds. It scripts the call, generates an on-brand proposal with an audit-trailed e-signature, and pulls readership figures from every channel into one number the sales floor can stand behind. It extracts articles from the issue and turns them into scheduled social campaigns, then produces a per-issue report to open the next call with.
The result
In production since June 2026 with a paying publisher using it as their daily sales system. Research that took an afternoon now takes seconds, and proposals go out during the call rather than the following week.
