About the studio
Brass Lantern Studios is a software studio in Sutton Coldfield, building websites, web platforms and mobile apps for businesses across north Birmingham and well beyond it.
Alongside the client work, we built Little Wins, approved on both the App Store and Google Play in September 2026, Recipe Developer, live on both platforms, and Pufferfish, an arcade game. Pressroom, a sales platform for B2B magazine publishers, has been running in production with a paying customer since June 2026.
That has a practical effect on the client work. Store review, privacy declarations, billing behaviour under real customers, and what a platform needs in its second year rather than its first week are all things we have met on the products we built first, rather than for the first time on somebody else's project.
On the client side, Facade 365 was built for AAI Selby and spans an API, a web dashboard, an iOS app, an Android app and an AI photo-sorting pipeline. It is in daily use by installers on site.
Work is discussed directly with the people building it. Brass Lantern Studios Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17208101.
